Late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J.Jayalalithaa’s biopic ‘Thalaivii’ is set to release this September 10.
Zee Studios is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. It is said that the movie could also see a release on OTT platforms soon after.
The movie will see Kangana Ranaut portray Actress Jayalalitha’s transformation from movies to political corridors and eventually to the Chief Minister’s chamber.
Late Ms. Jayalalithaa is a widely popular political leader in Tamil Nadu who had passed away in December 2016 while holding the office of the Chief Minister.
The movie is directed by AL Vijay and will see Aravind Swamy portray the late MGR.
The film is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh and Co-produced by Hitesh Thakkar and Thirumal Reddy, with music on T-Series.
