Telangana reported three new cases of the coronavirus, all from the Greater Municipal Hyderabad Corporation. The total number of people who tested positive for COVID-19 in the state is now 1,085.
Apart from the rapid decline in the new cases, the recovery rate has gone higher. With 40 discharges reported today, the number of those recovered has gone up to 585.
There are currently 471 patients receiving treatment (active cases) for coronavirus.
Official data places the number of deaths from the virus at 29.
Uttam Kumar Reddy meets the Governor, complains of ‘major shortcomings’
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Uttam Kumar Reddy met Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan earlier in the day and complained against ‘major shortcomings’ related to testing, lack of adequate welfare measures, and the plight of the farmers.
