India ended the Tokyo Paralympic games with an unprecedented 19 medals. The 54-member strong para-athlete team has won 5 Gold, 8 Silver, and 6 Bronze medals. Day after day, medal after medal, the performance of the team has left the nation enthralled.
It was the nation that cheered the team at the Paralympics, and the team has put a smile on every supporter’s face.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated each and every member of the Indian contingent for ensuring the success of the team.
