Three states and three union territories have administered at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to their eligible population as of September 12.

Here is the list of those who accomplished the task. The list could see more additions soon if the vaccination holds its speed.
- Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu – 6.26 Lakh doses
- Goa – 11.83 Lakh doses
- Himachal Pradesh – 55.74 Lakh doses
- Ladakh – 1.97 Lakh doses
- Lakshadweep – 53,499 doses
- Sikkim – 5.10 Lakh doses
Himachal Pradesh was the first to achieve the milestone by the end of August.
There is a minimum 84-day waiting period between the first and second doses of the viral vector vaccines in India.
74 Crore Vaccine doses given so far
A total of 74 Crore vaccine doses have been administered, as per the Health Ministry’s update in the afternoon.

Nearly 73 lakh people received a jab of the vaccine over the last 24 hours. A majority of these people, over 43 lakh, have gotten their first dose.
