Netanyahu’s trip came amid political turmoil in the United States following President Biden’s sudden withdrawal from the presidential race.
Upon his arrival in Washington, Netanyahu was greeted with a mix of cheers and jeers from protesters, who had gathered to voice their opinions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
