TDP President and Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu predicted a massive victory for the NDA in the state, including a victory in the Kadapa parliamentary constituency.
The NDA alliance in AP comprises the TDP, Jana Sena, and the BJP.
Mr. Naidu asked what the YSRCP’s election campaign in Kadapa would be, given that the Chief Minister’s uncle, former MP, YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case is still unsolved after five years.
He said the YSRCP government not only obstructed the investigation but also persecuted the CBI official who was investigating the case.
He alleged that the ruling party had amassed wealth through selling cheap liquor, sand, or property settlements.
He said the YSRCP has scared the bureaucracy, and even the IAS and IPS officers are surrendering to the ruling party’s whims.
In the current administration, only people such as Subba Reddy, Vijaya Sai Reddy, Sajjala, or Peddireddy have benefited, but none else, Mr. Naidu alleged.
Even the religious minorities in the state did not benefit from this government, he said.
JSP Chief Pawan Kalyan will tour extensively, and he too will tour at least 160 constituencies before the poll, Mr. Naidu said.
