In a written response to Ex-CBI JD V.V.Lakshmi Narayana’s reason for leaving the Jana Sena party, Mr. Pawan Kalyan reiterated that movies are his only source of income and that he has no choice but to act.
Mr. Lakshmi Narayana had earlier resigned from the party on the grounds that Pawan Kalyan had decided to act in movies again and that this showed a lack of consistency in Jana Sena Chief.
In his response to that reason, Pawan Kalyan gently retorted that he owned neither cement companies nor power projects nor mines nor milk factories. “Neither am I a government employee drawing a high salary,” he added.
Cinema is all that he knew, the JSP chief said. To ensure the financial security of his family and other dependants, and even the party itself, he has to act, Mr. Kalyan wrote in his letter. Maintaining that he and “Jana Sainikulu” (Jana Sena Party cadre) will continue to respect Mr. Lakshminarayana, Pawan Kalyan signed off with best wishes.
