Nara Lokesh, TDP National Secretary, has decided to halt the proposed resumption of his Yuva Galam walkathon. The former Minister of Andhra Pradesh was to continue his walk from Razole, Konaseema, on Sep 29, 2023.
Mr. Lokesh’s Yuva Galam came to a stop in Razole when his father, Chandrababu Naidu, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, was arrested on Sep 8 by the CID in relation to an alleged scam in the Skill Development Project.
Nara Lokesh is currently in Delhi overseeing the legal process to secure bail for his imprisoned father.
Chandrababu Naidu’s Special Leave Petition is listed for hearing on Oct 3, 2023.
Meanwhile, the AP CID named Mr. Lokesh as a culprit in an alleged scam related to the change in alignment of a proposed Inner Ring Road. Lokesh filed for an anticipatory bail from the High Court.
