Incidents follow the East Palestine Train Derailment Incident
Earlier this month, on Feb 3, a Norfolk Southern Freight Train carrying hazardous materials derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, setting off a health scare.
The authorities burned railcars to control the damage, and because of the resulting hydrogen chloride and phosgene in the air, residents in the vicinity were evacuated.
Residents of Ohio took to social media to link the incidents and demanded an investigation.
