Addressing an election campaign in the Mangalagiri constituency, TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh opined that the state’s education curriculum needs to be revamped from KG (Kindergarten) to PG (Postgraduate).

He said education is not limited to mathematics and science but must also include social and civic responsibilities and respect for women.

Andhra Pradesh regressed by 30 years

AP’s development has not just stunted but regressed by 30 years, said Mr. Lokesh.

He said that not a single industrialist is coming forward to invest in the YSRCP-ruled Andhra Pradesh, and in some instances, investments intended for the state have been diverted to Odisha.

He said job seekers from Andhra Pradesh had to go to neighboring states for livelihood.

Will make Mangalagiri a role model in Welfare and Development

The TDP leader, who lost the 2019 election to YSRCP’s Alla Ramakrishna Reddy in a close contest by a margin of around 5300 votes, is now seeking a thumping majority in the upcoming poll against YSRCP’s candidate, Murugudu Lavanya.

Mr. Lokesh said he would ensure that Mangalagiri would be a role model in welfare and development.

Mr. Lokesh alleged that funds from illicit drugs and cheap liquor were finding their way to YSRCP and asked the voters to imagine their future if such leaders win again.
