Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu concluded a pivotal two-day visit to New Delhi, where he engaged in extensive discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union ministers, focusing on the development and financial health of Andhra Pradesh.
During his meeting with PM Modi, Naidu expressed gratitude for the recent Union Budget allocations, particularly the ₹15,000 crore for developing Andhra Pradesh’s new capital.

Mr. Naidu detailed the state’s financial challenges, emphasizing the need for central aid to boost economic activity and increase the state’s GDP.
Chandrababu Naidu met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss the state’s economic strategy and potential central schemes that could benefit Andhra Pradesh.
The AP CM also met Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil, focusing on expediting the Polavaram irrigation project, which is crucial for the state’s water management.
The Chief Minister’s engagements extended to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, discussing asset division under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, and financial issues between APGENCO and Telangana Discoms.
His meetings with other ministers like Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan covered a spectrum of issues from infrastructure development to agriculture and industrial incentives.
