Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police K.V. Rajendranath Reddy was presented with the ‘President’s Police Medal’ for distinguished service for the year 2020.
Mr. Rajendranath Reddy is a 1992 batch IPS officer who took charge as AP DGP in February this year.
CM Jagan hoists the Indian Flag
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan hoisted the national flag at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada.
The Chief Minister called the tri-color flag “a symbol of our Independence, Sovereignty, and Self-Respect.”
The Chief Minister received the guard of honor from the police forces, followed by the customary display of the tableaux from different government departments, which highlighted several government schemes.
