The event, held near Gannavaram Airport in Kesarapalli, saw the presence of key figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, marking the beginning of a new era in Andhra Pradesh’s governance.

The ceremony was not just political but also deeply personal for Mr. Naidu. Three years ago, he had publicly shed tears for the first time after derogatory remarks were made against his wife by YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders. That emotional moment prompted him to take a solemn vow to return to the Assembly only as Chief Minister.

Chandrababu Naidu was also arrested by the YSRCP-led government in an alleged corruption case, but no evidence was produced in the courts, leading to the TDP chief securing bail after 50 days.

“Today, I stand here not just as the Chief Minister but as a man who has fulfilled a promise to himself and to the people who believed in me,” Naidu said, his voice heavy with emotion.

As Chandrababu Naidu stepped down from the dais, he was met with thunderous applause and cheers.

The oath-taking ceremony was a spectacle of grandeur, with a crowd of supporters cheering as Naidu and his team of ministers took their oaths. The air was electric with excitement and anticipation as the people of Andhra Pradesh looked forward to the changes and developments that the new government promised.

Among the ministers sworn in were prominent figures from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Jana Sena Party (JSP).

Notably, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan also took oath as a minister, adding to the political weight of the new government.

“This is not just a government; it’s a movement,” said one supporter, echoing the sentiments of many. “We have put our faith in Chandrababu Naidu and his team, and we believe they will lead us to a prosperous future.”
