Earlier, on April 13, 2024, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was injured in a stone pelting incident during a Vijayawada road show. The YSRCP has accused the TDP and its allies, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Jana Sena Party, of orchestrating the attacks. In response, Chandrababu Naidu has condemned the attack on CM Jagan and demanded an impartial investigation into the incident.
The latest attacks have added to the already tense atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh, with political leaders and their supporters engaging in heated exchanges and accusations.
