King Charles III pays tribute to his mother; vows to continue service

In a televised speech, King Charles III of the United Kingdom recollected his mother’s unwavering dedication to the nation as he paid tribute to her ‘life of service.’

The 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022, at her estate in Balmoral. Although Charles immediately became the King following his mother’s death, ceremonial proceedings are pending.

Commits to his duties

Charles III, King of the UK and fourteen other commonwealth nations, has vowed to defend the constitutional principles.

He said that the fearless embrace of progress makes the UK great as a nation.

King Charles said that values must remain constant through all the changes and challenges.

The Church of England inspires values, he said.

The monarch has vowed to serve everyone regardless of their background and beliefs.

Admitting that his new responsibilities would change his life, King Charles said he would not be able to spend the same amount of time on Charities as before but assured that trusted hands would take care of them.

Camilla becomes Queen Consort, William becomes the Prince of Wales

King Charles had named William the Prince of Wales and Camilla the Queen Consort.

He said that Prince William and his wife Catherine (Kate Middleton) would inspire national conversations and bring marginal to the center.

The King expressed love for his younger son Harry, as the young royal and his wife Meghan build their lives overseas.

On behalf of his family, King Charles thanked everyone for their condolences and messages.

The King thanked his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, for her love and devotion to her family and to the nations that she served as a monarch.
